A Christmas Story...KINDA
Then Mrs. Claus told Santa that her Mother was coming to visit. This stressed Santa even more. When he went to harness the reindeer, he found that three of them were about to give birth and another two had jumped the fence and were out..... Heaven knows where.
More stress.
Then when he began to load the sleigh one of the boards cracked, and the toy bag fell to the ground and scattered the toys. Frustrated, Santa went into the house for a cup of apple cider and a shot of rum. When he got to the cupboard, he discovered that the elves had hidden the liquor, and there was nothing to drink.
In his frustration, he accidentally dropped the cider pot, breaking it into hundreds of little pieces all over the kitchen floor. He went to sweep it up, only to find that mice had eaten the straw end of the broom. Just then the doorbell rang.
A very irritable Santa trudged to the door, opened it, and there stood a little Angel with a great big Christmas tree. The Angel very cheerfully said, "Merry Christmas, Santa. Isn't it a lovely day? I have a beautiful tree for you. Where would you like me to stick it?"
And so began the tradition of the little Angel on top of the Christmas tree.

The seperation - Part I
See, a few years ago Ken went thru a divorce. After a couple years and many court battles, he was awarded custody of his two kids. Ken's mom volunteered to help raise B. and C. since Kens job starts at varying times (etimes he starts as early as 4 in the morning!) and calls for long hours. He also started working nights every other week by this time, and needed someone to watch the kids' nights. So, the kids basically lived with us in the house for many years.
After she came back from her brothers, she moved in w/ Ken. I guess things were going ok...Chuck would know more than I since they talked on the phone everyday. During this separation, the dad would call every night and talk to Chuck for hours. This is how I learned just how deceiving she really was. For instance, dad caught her on more than one occasion dressing in front of the camera and taking to Rassel, when he'd come home early from work.
She got dialup while living w/ Ken and was on the internet talking to Rassel like constantly, so she never did call us or even visit us... didn’t really bother me none, but it was starting to get to chuck. The closer it got to Christmas the more depressed he became. I was able too still talk to her everyday though. I was able to keep in touch using yahoo msger. I had always managed to remain on her good side (the part that hadn’t gone totally loopy yet), so she had given me her username.
To be continued....
